Dua Lipa captivated the 2024 BRIT Awards with her appearance and electrifying performance. On Saturday night (March 2), the London O2 Arena hosted the event where the pop sensation turned heads while wearing a black latex dress. Designed by Versace, it featured a mermaid silhouette complemented by her chain necklace and a chunky bracelet.
Beauty-wise, Lipa’s red hair flowed freely as she sported dramatic black eyeliner. On social media, the singer shared photos of her wearing the dress. Evidently, fans loved the look and the post gained more than a million likes within hours after posting. One user wrote, “The most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”
Before taking the stage, Donatella Versace praised Lipa on Instagram. The designer called her a “vision in Versace” and expressed affection for the musician’s undeniable presence at the BRITs. She opened the show with her latest single, “Training Day,” from her yet-to-be-named third album, following her contribution to the Barbie movie soundtrack.
The “Levitating” singer has been a prominent figure in recent years, not only featuring in films but also focusing on her music career. Her third studio album is highly anticipated, with Lipa revealing she penned 97 songs for the project.
At the awards, she was nominated for three categories: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Dance the Night,” and Pop Act. It marked her first BRIT performance since 2021, when she won two BRIT Awards: British Album of the Year and Female Solo Artist.
In February, Lipa released “Training Season,” which reflected her frustrations with dating. The song’s accompanying video captured her dismissing unworthy suitors, a theme she described as the end of her “training season” for men. Watch the clip below.
