Today, Dutch soul songstress Latanya Alberto unveils her first musical offering this year with “Sunrise.” Self-penned, reflective, and honest, she muses on self-accountability in relationships led by layered harmonies and cradled by glowing production by Rafael Sinay and co-production from Gino Cochise.
Remarking on the inspiration behind the record, Latanya Alberto shares, “In these times it’s inevitable to stay uninformed about the harm one party has caused the another, on a cultural level. To love sustainably and truthfully, accountability will stay the first step to master.” Her latest single comes off the heels of her 2021 “Futurity” and subsequently, her COLORS debut performance.
The singer-songwriter is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming EP, slated to drop during the Spring. In the meantime, listen to “Sunrise” below.
