Young Onassis shares the live performance to his latest single “BMW.” Produced by Womatic (2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, and Ty Dolla Sign), the three-minute cut features singer Godflow on the hook and finds the artist addressing injustice.
“BMW (Black Man Winning)” was inspired by the countless brothers that have been killed by the hands of police, and all the injustices men of color face by the system. Young Onassis had the title and concept since 2014 and the death of George Floyd sparked something in him to complete the track.
Speaking on the record, the producer shared, “This beat has been sitting on ice since 2014, I promise I tried to get this placed but no one blessed it. Seven years later it makes clear sense why no one killed the beat. It was never meant for another artist.” Check out the track from the California natives below.
