Ahead of his forthcoming album Pray For Me, YG enlists Tyga, BIA, and 21 Savage for his star-studded track “Run.” The song is produced by Jetson Made, DJ Swish, and DVLP among others, joined by an accompanying music video that sees the musicians transformed into women whilst riding in a red Ferrari.

The song title is echoed in the chorus as YG raps, “Run them bands up, run them bands up / Thought we was fallin’ off, you can’t stand us.” Through the rapper’s verse, he pays homage to late Los Angeles rapper Slim 400, who was fatally shot and killed this past December. Elsewhere, Tyga follows up with a surefire verse that is laced with references to OnlyFans and 4Hunnid. He raps, “Get money in the safe, sex in the air (Air) / Yeah, jumpin’ off a bean for me everywhere.” As expected, BIA comes through and graces the track with her signature style and lines about her rise to riches and Richard Pryor among other topics.

“Run” follows the release of February’s “Scared Money” featuring J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo which saw the trio flaunting their wealth and various luxuries. Since its release, the song’s video has accumulated 15 million YouTube views. Pray For Me will also include “Sign Language,” another braggadocious track that sets the tone for what fans can expect on the full-length project.
