WILLOW graces us with the release of her new single “?maybe? it’s my fault,” produced by Chris Greatti. The track continues her delve into pop-punk sound as hinted at in the song’s cover art, which the musician teased last week via Instagram.

“It’s all in my mind, it’s all in my mind / Laying down, six feet under, it’s sublime / I don’t know if I’m worth forgiving,” she chants on the song. “Met her at a party, I said, ‘She seems nice’ / Every time I thought about it, I got butterflies / And when I told you, we agree that she’s alright.”

“?maybe? it’s my fault” marks WILLOW’s second lead single of 2022, serving as a follow-up to April’s rock-infused track “PURGE” featuring Siickbrain. The song’s accompanying video has amassed over 1.7 million views on YouTube to date, further paving the way for her latest release. Both songs are slated to appear on the artist’s forthcoming album later this year, yet to be announced. She also collaborated with YUNGBLUD on “Memories” last month as well as PinkPantheress for the pair’s long-awaited joint song “Where Are You.”

“It’s all too often in tender emotional states we try to blame our hurts on other people. Even though none of us are perfect, in some capacity it’s us who allow ourselves to get into situations that don’t serve our highest purpose,” WILLOW shared in regard to the song. “‘it’s my fault’ explores what it’s like to hold ourselves equally accountable for the emotional pain we feel while also allowing ourselves to be human and fully process ALL of our feelings without shame.”
