Continuing to promote his posthumous album What It Means To Be A King, King Von‘s estate drops the video for “Too Real” off of the project. Produced by frequent collaborators DJ FMCT, Glazer, and DJ Bandz, the two-minute cut sees the rapper flashing his ferocious flow over eerie piano keys and humming basslines.
“Too Real” is shot by DrewFilmedIt sees Von mobbing with his flamethrower in the backstreets of Chicago as he spits fire about how he’s the realest in the streets. “I done shot so many men (What?), I think I’m 50 Cent (I think I am) / I ask once, won’t ask again (I won’t), know who you dealin’ with,” he raps.
Released this past Friday, What It Means To Be A King was reportedly sold a whopping 65K album units, making it one of his most successful LPs thus far. The 19-track project boasts features from Lil Durk, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, and Fivio Foreign to name a few, and includes pre-release singles like “I Don’t Play That” featuring 21 Savage as well as “War.” Watch King Von’s latest offering below.
