Pulled from his latest album, Folarin II, Wale shares the music video for the standout cut “Tiffany Nikes.” In conjunction with the video release, he partnered with NTWRK to raffle off a pair of retro Tiffany Nike SB Dunks for only $1.
The visual also features Diamond Supply Co. founder Nicky Diamonds and Paul Rodriguez, which happens to be one of the locations for the video. The stylish and slick video intercuts vignettes of skateboarding and luxury sneakers as the rapper’s charisma practically pops off the screen with each cut. Between colorful horns and simmering 808s, Wale locks into a confident flow punctuated by clever rhymes and melodies that fans have loved for several years.
Folarin II, the rapper’s seventh studio album, dropped last year in October with features from J. Cole, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and Jamie Foxx amongst others. The video for “Tiffany Nikes,” although arriving months after the album, follows previously released visuals like “Poke It Out” featuring J. Cole and “Down South” featuring Yella Beezy and Maxo Kream. Watch the latest offering below.
