Today, Cinematic Music Group and Vina Love have announced a partnership deal and exclusive recording contract. The multitalented sensation quickly caught the ear of CMG CEO Jonny Shipes, who said of Vina, “the day I met her, I knew a superstar had walked in the room. When I heard her voice I told Abby B (Cinematic A&R) to get the deal done. I’m very excited to see her career take off.”

Vina Love, originally from Harlem, NY, whose stake in Amore Love Records, makes her one of the youngest black women in music history to own her own record label, will retain ownership of her recording masters from the first release forward in the deal with Cinematic.

Reflecting on the moment, Vina spoke candidly about her excitement in working with one of the most successful independent record labels on earth, stating, “signing with Cinematic feels like I’m adding an entire family onto my own. It feels amazing to work with a group of people that get the vision and only want to enhance and bring it to life without trying to change who I am as an artist or person. I’m extremely excited for our journey together.”

“Owe Me,” is a powerful visual accompaniment to the songstress’ first release at CMG and invokes a visceral reaction for the viewer. “‘Owe Me’ is the first song I recorded with Cinematic, and it was the first beat I heard after signing. I went in the booth and freestyled with all of those emotions I had inside and that’s how we came up with the hook.” Check out Vina Love’s new video below.
