TooD and Jaé Joseph honor Pride Month with the launch of their limited-edition nail polish collection. Comprised of eight colors, each bold shade is named after a trailblazing LGBTQ+ activist that the brand admires.
Founder Shari Saidit, “Jae and I both built and launched a beauty business during the pandemic. We believe the future is in creative collaborations and growing community. It made perfect sense for us to team up on this project, as we are dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, diverse representation in the media, and artistic self-expression.”
The color options range from the red “Qween Jean,” blue “Ashton Mota,” lavender “Arsham Parsi,” and yellow “Ella Briggs” to name a few. Furthermore, there are also neutral hues such as black “Dan Savage” and grey “Zoey Luna,” the latter of which is named after the trans youth activist turned actor. Staying true to the brand’s clean beauty ethos, each product is vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic.
We wanted to evoke unique emotions and make bold statements,” Jaé Joseph adds in regard to the color selection. “Depending on which colors it’s paired with, it can create a drastically different mood giving you a range to play and experiment with.”
Retailing at $13 USD, 10%of each sale will go toward the Human Rights Coalition. Shop the TooD x Jaé Joseph nail polish via the label’s webstore.
