Miami singer-songwriter Toni Soleil unveils her major-label debut, “Cheated,” featuring St. Louis hitmaker Luh Kel. As the title hints, the collaboration between the two focuses on the fractures of a flawed relationship, letting both parties speak a blistering truth.
Opening the song, Toni sings, “I been stopped loving you, but I don’t know how to let you go.” She begins with emotional maturity, but once the chorus comes around, it’s apparent she’s fully in her bag: “I’m so damn glad that I cheated on you / I did the shit you do — I pulled a you on you.”
Arriving with an accompanying visual effort, “Cheated” finds Toni Soleil and Luh Kel playfully trade back and forth in their respective bedrooms on being unfaithful. The epic conclusion sees the pair back together after confronting each other over their misdeeds. Immerse in the nostalgic video below.
