Rising rap phenom TheHxliday‘s eagerly-awaited project has finally arrived. Coming in at the top of 2021, Batbxy is a 6-track offering via Motown Records. It boasts pre-release singles such as November’s “Thank U” as well as “Laugh A Little.”

The EP tackles themes of love, love lost, and struggles with mental health. Furthermore, the Baltimore-native takes his fan along with him during the journey, detailing his plans to grow his artistry in the new year. Batbxy arrives after last year’s Broken Hills, which received a deluxe towards the end of 2020.

Speaking on the project, TheHxliday shares, “BatBxy is about my past year experiences. It’s a special note from me to my fans.” He later adds, “I wanted to drop BatBxy on New Year’s Day specifically because I feel like it’s me stepping out of my old self. It’s about the learning process that I’ve been going through in 2020 going into the new me in 2021.”
