Los Angeles-based artist THE BLSSM releases their sophomore EP aptly titled PURE ENERGY today. The five-song offering boasts pre-release singles such as “DIZZY” and “NOT TODAY,” the latter of which amassed over 300K YouTube views to date. BLSSM’s new project proves it’s possible to be an anomaly and an amalgamation all at once.
Throughout the project, the singer-songwriter delivers a silhouette on canvas for the audience to paint in their own reflections and personal experiences. Elsewhere, new songs like “I HATE SUNDAY” and “EVIL TWIN” serve as never-heard-before standout cuts. Production is handled by the likes of Leroy Clampitt, Nick Long, Dark Waves, James Ivy, and several more.
Alongside the new EP, THE BLSSM is currently on tour as a supporting act for Role Model. The tour kicked off on April 13th in Pamona with stops in Dallas, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Salt Lake City, Charlotte, and many more. The show run comes to a close on June 25th in St. Louis, Missouri. They’ll also be performing at the Life Is Beautiful Music & Art Festival in September.
