The Beaches release their latest single, “Grow Up Tomorrow,” perfectly encompassing what it feels like to be young, carefree, and reckless. Accompanied by an Ievy Stamatov-directed visual effort, it depicts a hazy, late-night, no-boys-allowed party scene complete with red solo cups, glittery eyeshadow, and a view through rose-colored glasses.
“Since the song is such a fun bop we wanted to represent it in the only way we know how: by throwing a house party with all of our closest friends. I’ve recently come into my own in the queer community—Leandra, who have welcomed me with open arms, so I wanted to make sure we represented this new, big part of my life in the video,” the group shares.
The Beaches are currently on their North American “Future Lovers” tour that culminates with two hometown Toronto shows. It’ll kick off on July 30th at Niagara Falls in Ontario and later hit markets like Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, and many more. The group will bring the tour run to a close in Detroit on October 23rd—purchase tickets here.
