Stream Cordae’s New Album ‘From a Birds Eye View’

Cordae is undoubtedly one of the most promising lyricists to come out of North Carolina/Maryland over the past several years. From the flows to his demeanor, there’s a lot to love about the 24-year-old rapper. Today, Cordae releases his eagerly-awaited sophomore album titled From A Birds Eye View.

The album, which contains 14 songs, boasts features from Gunna, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, H.E.R., Eminem, Nas, and several more. Production comes from Jenius, Cardiak, Hit-Boy, and Kid Culture to name a few. This particular project has been in the works for a bit under two years, with the first pre-release single, “Gifted” featuring Roddy Ricch, dropping back in late August of 2020. That was followed by other promotional records like “The Parables,” which gets a remix from Eminem on the album, and “Sinister” featuring Lil Wayne.

From A Birds Eye View arrives less than a year removed from Cordae’s four-track EP Just Until…. which contains features from Young Thug and Q-Tip. Obviously intended to hold fans over, its precursor The Lost Boy was also well-received and given the amount of effort and time that went into this full-length release, the latest project will hopefully be a praised release amongst hip-hop fans.
