Mai Moxi is an emerging R&B songstress with a unique fusion of sounds from Afrobeat and Alternative R&B. Today, she unveils her first project as an independent artist, Nymphaea.
Nymphaea serves as a celebration of Mai finally step into her authentic self as she basks in her feminine energy. The 14-track offering is of her most intimate works to date as the 28-year-old delves into past and present experiences. It features Lil B and Young Paris amongst others, with production from Cleveland-based talent such as Nate Fox.
“I’ve poured my heart and soul into every aspect of this album and it means a lot to have your support,” Mai Moxi stated about the release. “It has truly been a journey to make Nymphaea come to life! Four years in the making, the album is full of growing pains, and amazingly beautiful people.”
In conjunction with her album, Mai also released the music video to “Midwest Kids Intro.” The song is an ode to my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Check out the full project below!
