Coming off the heels of her debut EP, London-raised songstress Alysha unveils her new single titled “Bump.” As glittering lo-fi textures and hazy hi-hats decorate the lush, nebulous backdrop, she outlines the notion of walking away from a toxic relationship, through addictive melodic cherries and distinct soulful imagination.
“I wrote the track after having a fight with my boyfriend” Alysha shares. She adds “I was done, I didn’t want to hear any more excuses. I kept ignoring him, but he was blowing up my phone. I found a beat on YouTube and began to write about it.”
“Bump” is the Cuban-Indian singer-songwriter’s first official release of 2021. Towards the tail-end of 2020, she shared Midnight Rendezvous which consists of five songs. Standout cuts from the project include “Love or Lust” and “Boys Hurt You.” This new single finds her sonically in a new direction; more to come from rising phenomenon soon.
In other music news, POORSTACY has dropped his first single of 2021, “Public Enemy.”
