Upon the release of her sophomore album in 2021, R&B singer-songwriter Sinéad Harnett has been more visible and self-assured than ever before. Ready Is Always Too Late received lots of praise, especially for records such as “Anymore” and “Distraction,” thus the UK musician returns with the eagerly-awaited deluxe edition.
The project adds three songs to its already admirable curation of records—two previously released and one brand new. Sinéad’s cover of Aaliyah’s 1994 classic “At Your Best (You Are Love),” which came out a bit over a year ago, appears on the full-length album. Her M Phazes-produced single “Where You Been Hiding” also appears on the project with just under 500K YouTube views to date. Elsewhere, “Let Go” debuts alongside an accompanying music video, co-written with Jayla Darden and Jae Stephens.
“I wasn’t ready to be proud of the skin I was in, to find my inner confidence or to truly practice self-love. But I’m doing it now and it’s an ongoing, crazy, and unpredictable journey that I’m grateful for,” Sinéad Harnett states. Listen to Ready Is Always Too Late below.
