In collaboration with fellow Jamaican musician Skillibeng, rising global artist Shenseea unveils her new single “Rain,” produced by ATL Jacob. She continues the summer vibes following her recent performances at Reggae Sumfest and Rolling Loud Miami.
She released her first album, ALPHA, in March. The Jamaican artist’s compositional skills and ear for ravenous melodies and hooks are shown in this genre-spanning record. Rvssian, Scott Storch, and London On Da Track all contributed stellar production to the project.
Beginning with the sensual “Target,” Shenseea leads us on a voyage of female empowerment tunes like “Deserve It,” and dancehall anthems like “Henkel Glue,” featuring Jamaican superstar Beenie Man, while soulful anthems like “Body Count,” and the “Sun Comes Up,” showcase Shenseea’s vocal ability. Megan Thee Stallion (“Lick”), 21 Savage (“R U That”), Offset, Sean Paul, and Tyga round out the project’s unique guest features.
