After teasing the song earlier this month, Saweetie enlists multi-Platinum R&B singer H.E.R. for the release of her new single “Closer.”

“Closer” is the ICY girl’s first record since the November release of “Icy Chain.” Elsewhere, she was also featured on the Bruised Soundtrack with “Attitude” and prior to that, the rapper created an original song titled “Get It Girl” for the HBO original series Insecure. Currently, Saweetie is preparing for the release of her debut album Pretty Much Music, which was originally slated to drop in 2021, but hopefully the long-awaited project will see the light of day this year.

Produced by SupaKaine, Mike Crook, and Ryan OG amongst others, the record to no surprise is a bop. Listen to “Closer” below.
