Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan releases her highly-anticipated sophomore studio album, I Blame The World. The project boasts production from Mike Elizondo (twenty one pilots, Ed Sheeran), Chad Copelin, King Henry, and more.
I Blame The World serves as a much-awaited follow-up project to Sasha’s 2020 critically praised debut, Only Child. Described by the singer-songwriter as an “honest, non-hopeful” collection of work, the 11-song portrait sees Sasha Alex Sloan embracing the weary apathy of the world around her and ushering in a bold new era of musicality.
Pre-release singles like “WTF,” “New Normal,” and the title track appear on the project. Meanwhile, never heard before cuts such as “Adult” and “I h8 Myself” find the singer exploring self-realization and growth. Other songs like “Global Warming,” “Live Laugh Love,” and the closing track “Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done” are also noteworthy records.
In support of the album, Sloan will be embarking on her headlining tour alongside supporting acts Jessie Murph and Slimdan next month. Kicking off in Minneapolis on July 21st, the singer will make stops in Chicago, Toronto, Charlotte, Atlanta, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Houston to name a few cities. It will come to a close in Nashville on September 10th at the Marathon Music Works.
