Samsøe Samsøe is teaming up with the GORE-TEX once more for their AW22 collection due to the popularity of their previous four capsule collections. The collaboration is an ode to quality work, beautiful design, and all-around resilience under adverse conditions. Something that is really important in the brand’s native Denmark.
Together, they’ve created a technically focused collection that marries the hallmark elements of the GORE-TEX Brand—including waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability—with the sleek simplicity of Samsøe Samsøe’s signature Scandinavian aesthetic. Fabrics from the GORE-TEX INFINIUM Windstopper and ‘Guaranteed to keep you dry’ lines have been included in the AW22 line. Each GORE-TEX and GORE-TEX INFINIUM fabric was specifically selected for its superior performance and environmentally friendly construction. A total of 10 brand-new items have been introduced, five for males and five for females.
“It is truly an honor to develop further our collaboration with GORE-TEX, as they are leaders in providing technical outerwear solutions and materials. From a design and production point of view, it is a stimulating exercise to find the balance between performance and classic but updated silhouettes for everyday life,” says Meme Fagiuoli, Head of Womenswear & Gitte Wetter
Head of Menswear. “The process is so meticulous and super detail-oriented. We are proud to present our audience with outerwear made with the best of tested and certified technical materials and solutions, thanks to the incredible know-how of the GORE-TEX team.”
With digital artist Yilmaz Sen’s return, the project’s cyclical nature was fully revealed. Sen recorded the two windproof and waterproof GORE-TEX-certified components in four distinct environments. In contrast to last year’s ad, which focused on the city, this year we took the items outside and into a future setting to illustrate how well they perform in all kinds of weather.
Slated to launch on October 22nd, you can shop the AW22 collection via the Samsøe Samsøe website.
