The “Kuwata” iteration of the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog, which had been hinted at earlier this year, will officially be released on October 22. The vivid salmon hue of the slip-on seems to be influenced by cherry blossom bushes.
The newest addition to the Salehe Bembury Crocs family was introduced in a 3D-animated video posted on Instagram, and it has a different design for the forefoot protection than the rest of the top. Furthermore, it works in combination with the hardware and strap that provides functionality to the pair, as well as the semi-translucent, fingerprint-styled tread underfoot, to provide character to an otherwise standard offering. The classic silhouette is preserved with a deeper hue at the toe and hardware, and a smattering of co-branding across the upper.
The long-awaited Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog “Kuwata” will be released on October 22 at 12pm EDT through Be A Spunge. After a limited release on Crocs’ website and at select shops, you can anticipate the slip-on to be on sale for $85 USD.
