Rod Wave has finally released his fourth studio album, titled Beautiful Mind, after teasing fans with previews of the project for many months.
A few weeks ago, Wave revealed the release date and included “Stone Rolling” in his announcement. In the music video for the song, which Rod Wave filmed himself, he can be seen traveling all over the United States, beginning in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida, and making stops in Baltimore, Miami, and Tampa before catching a flight to Cancun and continuing his tour. While he is meeting new people and spending time with his family and fans, Rod utilizes the opportunity to reflect on his rise to fame via the lyrics of his songs.
The album also includes the track “By Your Side,” which has already been certified platinum, as well as his smash hit “Cold December.” The former of these songs is responsible for his 20th appearance on the Billboard Hot 100. Elsewhere on the project, there are a number of standout cuts for long-time fans of the musician to enjoy. In addition to Rod Wave’s vocals, production is handled by the likes of Tahj Money, TnTXD, Mizzy Mauri, Luke Walker, and Sonic Major to name a few.
