Rising songstress Chel unveils, “Different,” the first offering ahead of her forthcoming EP. It arrives after a string of R&B-tinged singles, including “Call” and “Push My Buttons,” throughout 2020.

Further demonstrating her talent as an independent artist whilst she waves the flag for the UK R&B scene, Chel’s fusion of the celebrated genre, with Pop vibes included, has seen her presence and her platform continue to grow since her 2018 introduction. 

Speaking on the song, the North London artist explained: “This song is a personal favorite and comes from a deeply hurt place. I thought I’d include a “quick cry” song before hot girl summer commences. It’s a song to get it out of our systems! After this, there is no going back!” She continues to champion female empowerment with relatable subject matter throughout her music, which is one thing we love about her.
