T$AN Is an upcoming rapper who has had his fair share of moving from different states, such as Atlanta to Sacramento to Philly, where he currently resides until he makes his way back to Atlanta.
His passion for music grew when he was in high school and would freestyle with his friends at lunch. He then began learning the different aspects of recording music, which led to him recording his first song. Since then, T$AN has recorded two projects since he graduated. In 2010, he released G6M1N9 and Farewell to follow in 2020. He has even worked with artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver, Brockhampton’s Jabari, Lancey Foux, Asian Doll, OG Maco, and many more.
“I just want to push the younger generation’s sound forward,” he said. “I want to raise the bar in it. I think my generation is more focused on the fun side of music instead of the ‘message’ or ‘consciousness’ in it, and while I’m definitely no J Cole, I definitely always try to bring some of my wisdom and perspective into my music for whoever can grasp it or relate to it or learn from it.”
With that being said, he is definitely putting his money where his mouth is with his new EP titled Till The Death Of Me. This Project marks his first project since leaving Columbia Records and taking the Independent route. The EP is produced by TRGC, holds 22-tracks and features artists like British artist Lancey Foux.
Make sure to keep an eye and ear out for the EP dropping on 4/22/22 on all streaming services!
