Singer-songwriter Queen Naija takes the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase and BDS Urban AC charts with “Butterflies Pt. 2.” The single, which has spent 28 weeks on the chart, is Queen’s third No. 1 hit at the Urban AC format, following 2018’s “Medicine” and 2019’s “Karma.”
“Butterflies Pt. 2” is from her debut album, missunderstood, which entered Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart at No. 1 last week–making Queen Naija the first female solo artist on Capitol Records to top the tally in over a decade. Notably, her album debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
“Butterflies Pt. 2” has more than 63 million combined global streams. The song is the hypnotic sequel to “Butterflies,” which was one of three Platinum-certified singles from her self-titled debut EP, released in 2018. Watch the video below.
