Promotor Greg Jones Is Rising Quickly Amid The Pandemic
Asheville native Greg Jones, coined “Moneyman Jones,” is known up and down the East Coast as one of the most boisterous party promoters in the game. Growing up in the ’90s, artists like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and LL Cool J were the soundtrack to his childhood. As a teen, Greg couldn’t stay out of trouble until finding his love for throwing parties, which soon pushed him to get his act together.
In the early 2010s, Greg Jones did events with a plethora of hip-hop’s biggest artists. Rappers such as Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Gucci Mane all graced the stages and partied alongside the promoter. Pairing mixtape hosting and show opening opportunities with lit parties has helped him become a star in his field. He understands that all artists need help and that he can help them go to the next level.
