A summertime smash has been produced by the collaborative efforts of PinkPantheress and Sam Gellaitry. A flood of disco joy washes over the listener as “Picture in my mind” blends saccharine sweet vocals with an electronic sensibility.
“After meeting PinkPantheress for the first time in London last year, we decided to schedule a trip for her to come to Scotland and write,” Sam Gellaitry shared regarding the song. “I’m so happy with how this one turned out and it was an honour to witness how much of a visionary she really is. This track will be my summer anthem for now and for many, many years to come.”
In the previous several months, teamwork has enabled PinkPantheress to develop to her greatest potential. Both her features on WILLOW‘s “Where You Are” and the “bbycakes” standout cut by Mura Masa along with Lil Uzi Vert and Shygirl delved into distinct facets of the artist’s oeuvre. Her future is anyone’s guess after the success of her first EP, To Hell With It, which was released in October to widespread praise.
