Set to release on July 14th, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Phillies” pays homage to the Philadelphia baseball team of the same name. It boasts color blocking reminiscent of Phillies’ 80s uniforms, which are comprised of powder blue, maroon, and white.
Featuring a suede upper, the light blue hue dominates the majority of the shoe, appearing on the base, overlays, shoe laces, and insole. It’s complemented by maroon Swooshes that wrap around the heel of the shoe as well as the Nike logo on the insole and tongue. Meanwhile, hints of white can be seen outlining the Swooshes, midsole, and “Nike” on the heels. Philly cheesesteak and the Liberty Bell motifs pay homage to Philadelphia on the inside of the tongue. To round the design out, bubblegum rubber outsoles make this shoe a noteworthy release to peep this year.
Retailing at $115 USD, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Phillies” will be available to purchase via Nike and partnering retailers. In the meantime, check out the shoe below.
Elsewhere in sneakers, the upcoming release of the Nike Dunk Low “Arizona State” takes on ASU’s university colors.
