With the holiday of love creeping up right around the corner, Nike prepares its latest offering of the very special Nike Dunk Low in “Valentine’s Day.” The latest sneaker boasts various textured underlays and arrives in a crimson red and hot pink silhouette.
With a tumbled leather overlay, the design features a fabric similar to pink lace surrounding the outlines of the Swoosh. Unlike many Valentine’s Day drops this year, the Dunk Low lacks any instances of white or pale pink, which gives the shoe a bold look. A translucent pink outsole rounds out the design.
Last year, we also got a Nike Dunk Low in “Valentine’s Day” which arrived very late, dropping on August 31. That rendition of the holiday offering featured white leather uppers arrive encased in smooth pastel pink leathers, with matching liners, laces, and outsoles. Swooshes and other branding hits to round out the design is a deep, anatomical heart-colored red. Personally, I think that the previous drop would’ve been more fitting for this year, especially if they would’ve held back on the late release.
Priced at $120 USD, the Nike Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day” will be available at Nike and select retailers upon its release in early-February.
