Bay Area rapper P-Lo returns with “Good,” his new single featuring fellow hometown rapper Larry June. Arriving weeks removed from performing at half-time for the Golden State Warriors’ first game in the NBA championship last night, he unloads the first glimpse into his forthcoming album, aptly titled STUNNA.

The record’s relaxed bounce and turntable scratches lay out a template for the infectious energy that P-Lo has been bringing to the West Coast sound. “With so many things in life that try to bring you down, it’s important to keep on going,” the rapper shares in a statement. “I want people to play my music and feel good about themselves, that’s what it’s about.” Additionally, he says the influence of funk is something he wanted to bring to light in a new way and sonically, it blended his and Larry’s sound well.
