Omar Apollo just delivered his debut studio album Apolonio with an accompanying visual premiere of his single “Kamikaze.” The 9-track offering boasts features from Kali Uchis and British-Australian singer Ruel. With this release, Omar gives fans a nostalgic yet vulnerable journey as we delve further into the project.
Apolonio arrives after 2018’s Friends EP and 2019’s Stereo release. Furthermore, the talented artist admitted to getting rid of his previous works pre-coronavirus quarantine for this album, virtually giving him a sense of rebirth. Listening to this particular release, Omar Apollo made the right choice in doing so. Standout cuts include “Hey Boy” and “The Two of Us” amongst others. Stream Apolonio below.
Elsewhere in music, Ayanis announced her new EP alongside the visuals for “Ecstacy.”
