Since leaking back in May, the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step “Black/University Gold” has been an eagerly-awaited release slated to hit shelves later this year.
Very similar to the “Triple Black” colorway that dropped in February, black hues appear across the leather uppers, mesh tongues, interior lining, and several midsole pieces. However, the “University Gold” color creates an alluring contrast, with splashes of the hue on NOCTA logos, Nike logos, and heels of the shoe. It’s also worth noting that the color appears in the sneaker’s transparent air unit.
The official images of the sneaker arrive on the heels of Drake’s seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind. The project, which spans fourteen songs, received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike due to its house-inspired sound. Moreover, 21 Savage served as a lone feature on the final track “Jimmy Crooks,” whilst songs like “Texts Go Green” and “Falling Back” serve as some noteworthy songs to listen to.
Set to release in the coming weeks, the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step will likely be another highly-coveted launch. In the meantime, check out the official images of the shoe below.
