Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy, his sixth studio album, was released back in September. The global musician prepared the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low in an all-white palette, but the shoe didn’t debut in time to accompany the record.
Like the NOCTA Hot Step, this iteration of the AF1 is based on tradition. However, Drake adds his own artist flare to the silhouette with an upper made entirely of quality leather. This time around, the metallic silver hue returns to the lace dubraes in addition to the midsole’s lateral side reading: “Love you forever” in replacement of the typical “AIR” motifs.
Variable depths of perforations on the toe box have been combined with the classic star-shaped tread to create heart-shaped traction. On the heels and liners of both shoes, NOCTA marking can be seen, suggesting that they are better-quality Air Force 1 Lows. Thus, the price tag is slightly higher than your typical AF1, reportedly going at $160 USD.
Drake’s NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Lover Boy” is scheduled to debut in Summer 2022 at select stores and Nike.
