With a number of Dunk High and Dunk Low iterations, Nike has continued to capitalize on the Dunk’s record-breaking demand. The Dunk High 1985, on the other hand, continues to see fewer iterations than other options. Earlier this year, Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER took on the silhouette earlier this year with its “Chaos/Balance” motif covering two hues. Since then, a “Pink Denim” look has appeared that goes well with this impending “Blue Denim” style that surfaced in May.
A classic cream midsole and a white leather foundation are back, just like the previously unveiled “Pink Denim.” The overlays are light blue denim with contrast stitching that is a deeper shade of blue. The Swooshes carry a continuation of this, and to round off the design, the outsole also has a light blue color.
The Nike Dunk High 1985 “Blue Denim” has not yet been given a release date. However, the pair is anticipated to be on sale through Nike and a few partnering retailers for $130 USD in the coming months, perhaps along with the complementary “Pink Denim” hue.
