Continuing its fruit-inspired iterations, Nike unveils the official images for the forthcoming Nike Air Max 97 “Blueberry,” slated to be released in the coming months.
The sneaker comes constructed in a mix of mesh and leather materials, primarily in white with a mix of blue hues that nod towards the colorway. Blueberry images appear on the insoles while 3M reflective detailing lay atop the black and white rubber sole unit. Aside from that, this iteration of the Air Max 97 is relatively standard in terms of look and color blocking.
Previously, we saw the Air Force 1 Low “Coconut” arrive with brown cracked leather infused on the Swoosh and coconut imagery on the insole and heel to resemble the fruit. Elsewhere, the Dunk Low “Banana” dresses the leather base in a “Coconut Milk” hue nodding to a peeled banana with yellow Swooshes
Priced at $170 USD, the Nike Air Max 97 “Blueberry” celebrates the silhouette’s 25th anniversary and will be available via Nike and partnering retailers upon release. See the official images below.
