Ahead of the annual holiday, we get an official look at the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Independence Day.” The shoe, which was initially released in 1997, returns this year for the shoe’s 40th anniversary.
The sneaker boasts a white tumbled leather with pearl blue overlays seen on the mudguard, heel, and strap. The jeweled Swoosh is seen in red with a mini Swoosh stitched on the strap as well, with more red accenting on the heel and tongue tag. A white midsole with an icy translucent outsole finishes off the sneaker. The colors obviously nod at the United States flag and the patriotic Nike release is amongst the few Air Force 1 Mid drops coming out later this year.
Priced at $150 USD, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Independence Day” is set to come out within a few months at select Nike stores.
Elsewhere in sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Dark Marina Blue” come out next month!
