In honor of Nike Air Force 1‘s 40th anniversary, designed by Bruce Kilgore, a new retro-inspired hue called “Gorge Green” will soon be available for purchase.
The glossy “Pearl White” leather on the uppers is accented with vertical stitching along the lateral quarter for a retro look, and the “Gorge Green” color fills the model’s signature elements like the Swooshes, tongue, and rear tab, which are branded with the retro “NIKE AIR” font from the ’80s. The latter color is carried all the way to the outsole from the colorful “Sesame” midsole, the same color as the collar lining and the laces, and the vertical binding and the bottom part of the foxing, which promotes exposed materials, add to the worn look.
The women’s exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Gorge Green” is seen in the official images below, and it will be available soon for $120 USD at select retailers and Nike.
