For the last three years, the Nike Air Foamposite One has stayed out of the limelight, giving other silhouettes from the ’90s their day in the sun. This time around, we get a look at the “Dream A World” colorway.
This drop follows up with a slew of other upbeat Nike advertisements by reiterating the dream big motto with exclusive phrases on the insole and packaging. Upgraded suede eyestays and collars, patent leather pulls, and aesthetic embellishments on the Foamposite shell and carbon fiber plate make up the monochromatic exterior. The branding is presented in an all-black layout, with the exception of a white 1 Cent logo at the foot of the page.
The three-word name of this potential capsule collection is repeated throughout the sock liner, which also bears a quotation attributed to the Roman philosopher Seneca: “Luck/success happens when preparation meets opportunity.” The shoebox is decorated with “Dream a World” writing, and the tissue paper inside has Seneca’s admonition. The tissue wrapper for the soon-to-be-released Nike Foamposite sneakers even has a note that reads “Insert Your Dreams Here:.”
The “Dream A World” Nike Air Foamposite One is set to drop in the coming months for $230 USD at select stores and Nike. Check out the official images of the sneaker below.
