Listen To NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby’s Joint Album ‘Better Than You’

Given the success of the past several collaborations, it should come as no surprise that NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby have a lot of music in the vault. Today, the pair share their joint album Better Than You, which boasts no guest features over the span of its 12 song entirety.

Ahead of the album’s release, YB and Baby shared pre-release singles such as “Bestie / Hit” and more recently, “Neighborhood Superstar” which arrived alongside the news of the full-length project. Production comes primarily from Jason Goldberg, TnTXD, Cardo, Nash Beats, and Ben10k amongst others. When it comes to the former, a great mix of producers are usually involved, who undoubtedly help cement and cater to his Baton Rogue-tinged sound.

Elsewhere, new songs like “BBL,” “Creeper,” and “Head Off” arise as standout cuts off the project. Previously, the two linked up for the first time on 2020’s “JUMP” from DaBaby’s third studio album Blame It On Baby. The song caught fire across the Internet, bringing together two rappers with a cult-like fanbase which was followed by them collaborating again on “Thug of Spades” off of YoungBoy’s 38 Baby 2 that same year.

Both NBA YoungBoy and DaBaby are among two the music industry’s most controversial, if not most hated, figures in music. The two rappers have their fair share of beef with other artists and drama that often spews from baby mother and legal troubles. It’s certainly not anything that seemingly sets the artists back too much given the amount of music they churn out individually and numbers they amass across streaming.
