Following its launch, Muihood, the skincare for the sisterhood brand introduces the Good Chi Cleansing Balm. Formulated to dissolve unwanted makeup, dirt, oil, and SPF off of your skin, the balm also smoothens the look of your complexion using Cithrol. The product will serve as the skincare label’s first cleanser in a nourishing, balm format, and is formulated to delicately purify the skin without causing moisture loss and reactivity.

Made with nourishing ingredients including soybean oil, goji berry, and ginseng, the Good Chi Cleansing Balm is ideal for all skin types, ideally for those with dry or sensitive complexions. Not only is the product a face wash, but it also effectively removes makeup with ease. During our interview with founder Charlotte Yau, she explained “Our cleansing habits often dictate the overall health of our skin, as well as product optimization. If you don’t have a clean face, but you’re putting on really expensive serums, they’re not going to penetrate the film of dirt, grime, SPF, and makeup that has embedded itself throughout the day.”

Other highlight ingredients in the product include sunflower seed oil that keeps the skin hydrated, while rosemary leaf extract protects you from environmental stressors and promotes skin metabolism. Additionally, this vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free item gives the skin a bouncy and natural glow. Muihood recommends that this balm be paired with their Gua Sha Spoon, which is available to purchase here.
