With her debut in Disney Plus’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Megan Thee Stallion is adding “actor” to her resume as the musician makes her MCU premiere.
The Cut reports that Megan has been cast in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. In the superhero legal drama, performed by Tatiana Maslany, we follow Jennifer Walters, an attorney who specializes in cases involving superheroes, as she deals with her personal and professional entanglements while also assuming the identity of the green superpowered She-Hulk.
She-Hulk debuted on Disney+ in the middle of August 2022, and new episodes have been dropping every Thursday since then. This show’s first season will end on October 13. Actor Josh Segarra, who portrays attorney Augustus “Pug” Pugliese on the show, gave Deadline a clue about Megan’s next plot when discussing about his character.
“A gentleman is being catfished by somebody that lives in another universe, let’s say. Another world,” revealed Segarra, revealing to Deadline that the catfish is impersonating a specific music artist. “So he thinks he’s dating one person, and he’s not, so we need to help him figure that out.”
It’s unclear at this time whether Meg’s role will be limited to a cameo or if she’ll have more substantial screen time. The actress will also make her film debut with Nathan Lane, Megan Mullally, and Bowen Yang in A24‘s musical comedy F*cking Identical Twins.
