Low Lights Studios Combines Youth Culture and Streetwear
Low Lights Studios is a testament to the importance of a highly-effective creative director. The German-based label emerged in 2018, combining the worlds of art, music, and youth culture which is communicated across their garments.
Aesthetically, Low Lights Studios is instantly recognizable thanks to its enriched logo and elevated streetwear pieces. In previous seasons, the brand’s style has been communicated through more relaxed silhouette and natural tones, occasionally stepping out with colors like orange in their Hidden Desert collection or blue in their Coldest Winter capsule. Among various different t-shirts, outerwear, and pants, standout pieces from the brand include a beige knitwear sweater and black puffer jacket to name a few.
For the brand’s latest collection, which arrives a few days removed from Valentine’s Day, Low Lights Studios enlists Sheck Wes and model Jamilia Strand to model their newest arrivals. The limited capsule includes an “I Love Lights” t-shirt available in both black and white in a noteworthy American Typewriter font. Elsewhere, for the ladies, the brand explores cropped tees in a pastel pink and white hue to signify the holiday.
Low Lights Studios’ approach to clothing isn’t too far off from some of the remarkable emerging labels we’ve seen this past year, but it’s something we’re looking forward to seeing more of in 2022. The imprint, while still a relatively new name, has ways to go but the potential is undoubtedly there. Shop the brand’s latest arrivals here.
