Together, the German luxury fashion brand MCM and sportswear giant PUMA are bringing the all-American game to the highest level of style. With three limited-edition releases, two of which include the Slipstream Lo, the PUMA x MCM partnership captures the wild glitz of basketball.
The vamp, tongue, and primary overlays are all constructed from white leather, while the mudguards and collar panels are constructed from caramel suede and continue towards the heel counter, where an MCM Cubic Monogram pattern serves as an embellishment. Meanwhile, the nylon outsole and fuzzy suede inside have been dyed a sunny shade of yellow, while the tongue logo and eyelets have been given a shiny metallic sheen. Rounding out the design, a white “AIR SHOCK SYSTEM” logo sits above a gum outsole that complements the shoe’s color scheme.
The MCM x PUMA Slipstream Lo “Show Love,” which will sell for $500 USD, will be available for purchase in-store and online at MCM Worldwide on September 8th, with a worldwide release set for September 10th.
