Louis Vuitton and UNICEF Reunite For Virgil Abloh-designed BRacelets
Louis Vuitton’s partnership with United Nations Children’s Fund, or UNICEF, has been ongoing since 2016. The former previously launched #MAKEAPROMISE campaign where proceeds from its bracelets and Doudou Louis teddy bear went to the organization. Now, LV continues Virgil Abloh’s charitable charm with the Silver Lockit Bracelet in a new mix of iterations.
This interaction of the Silver Lockit Bracelet features a chain, padlock, and the iconic Louis Vuitton charm in both “Natural” or “Black” titanium. The cord bracelets, on the other hand, arrive in a trio of new hues including “Neon Yellow,” “Rainbow,” or “Black.” The use of cord is frequent in Abloh’s work, notably his Nike Dunk collaboration, while the bracelet references George Vuitton’s tumbler lock created in 1890.
Retailing for £440 EUR, the Louis Vuitton x UNICEF collaboration is available via the LV website with $100 USD for each bracelet sold will be donated to the United Nations Children’s Fund.
