On the heels of touring alongside Dua Lipa, pop phenomenon Lolo Zouaï makes her eagerly-awaited return with “Give Me a Kiss.” Hinting at a new era of her artistry, the singer channels an alluring moody and seductive energy while evoking a romance that twists blurred lines into tunnel vision.
In regards to the new song, Lolo shares, “’Give Me A Kiss’ is the sound of a whirlwind romance that puts you in a haze. It’s the seasons changing, the feeling of being out of control and reckless but embracing it.” Accompanied by a music video, the Loris Russier-directed cut sees the pop-noir starlet in a room of mirrors as she explores her new sound.
“Blurring our vision / We’re on a mission / How many times can we fuck in the kitchen,” she sings on the song’s opening verse. Later in the record, she croons, “More to grab, you don’t need a supermodel / Skip work, baby, I’m your new boss / Now I tell you when to stop.”
Later this Summer, Lolo Zouaï will be performing across July at the Les Ardentes Festival in Belgium, Les Vieilles Charrues Festival in France, and will cap off the month by rejoining Dua Lipa in Canada, playing Montreal and Toronto towards the latter of the month.
