Today, international music phenomenon Shenseea unveils her debut album, ALPHA. The project, which is comprised of 14 songs, features 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Offset, and Tyga, who appears on the full-length release twice.

ALPHA is joined by pre-release singles like “Lick” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “R U That” featuring 21 Savage. The former received a lot of backlash for its extensive amount of explicit content and sexual innuendos, which despite that, quickly amassed several million streams across platforms. “R U That” on the other hand sees the dancehall artist going full English on the record, in contrast with her frequent use of patois.

Although many artists try to stick to a formula that has worked for them both commercially and sonically, Shenseea admits that this album sees her exploring different sides of her artistry. “This album is me experimenting,” she notes. “I want them to know that I’m versatile and also accept it. Not wanting me to stick to one genre or one style of music.”

Elsewhere, new songs like “Bouncy” featuring Offset and “Target” featuring Tyga serve as standout cuts. Listen to ALPHA below.
