After being pushed back several times, EARTHGANG’s eagerly-awaited fourth studio album Ghetto Gods is now available on streaming platforms. The 17-song project features J. Cole, Future, Ari Lennox, JID, Baby Tate, and many more while a portion of the album is narrated by fellow Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz.
EARTHGANG’s latest album follows their 2019 critically-acclaimed album Mirrorland, with a release date initially planned for September of last year. Ultimately, the project was pushed back due to sample clearance issues and presumably shaping it to be exactly what they intend. Pre-release singles off the album include “American Horror Story,” “All Eyes On Me,” and most recently “Amen” with Musiq Soulchild. Elsewhere, production comes from the likes of jetsonmade, 1500 or Nothin’, Natra Average, Nami, Phoelix, and several others.
“Ghetto Gods Is about finding the God in you. It doesn’t matter if you’re from the Ghetto or not. We all have the light in us. Elevate and let it shine,” the pair shared about their album. They add, “Ghetto Gods is some of our best work so far and we’re going to give it to you the right way.”
Alongside the album release, EARTHGANG announced the North American and European legs of their forthcoming tour, set to kick off on March 4th. Stream Ghetto Gods below.
