Listen To Dro Kenji’s New Project ‘With Or Without You’

South Carolina prodigy Dro Kenji returns with his new project With Or Without You. Produced by Internet Money, the 15-song offering boasts features from Highway and Scorey. Pre-release singles such as “Vanish” and “Finders Keepers” also appear on the full-length release.

With Or Without You arrives less than a year removed from his 2021 project F*ck Your Feelings, which was well-received by both fans and the media. Highlights within the tracklisting include the ethereal “Tight Rope,” which shows off his harmonic, layering abilities, “Used2Know” which finds Kenji pouring out his soul about past traumas over a tortured, piano-led instrumental, and “Need You Right Now,” a more mellow and laidback ballad. Prior to the project’s release, Dro Kenji also embarked on a mini-tour in support of the new songs.

Speaking on the project, Kenji shares, “It’s about being you, and being comfortable with being you with or without other people telling you what you can and cannot do. Every human being has different goals, has different concepts of what happiness looks like… because of that, people will judge you.” He adds, “the world will try to change you, but you must continue to move in your own direction… I hope people learn how to make their life their own. I hope they learn how to make their time here something they are proud of.”

This release is everything you’d expect from a Dro Kenji drop, from the production to lyricism, it’s a melodic joyride. Stream With Or Without You below.

Elsewhere in music, Ella Mai breaks her one-year hiatus with the release of “DFMU.”
