Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Baby has released a new single to round off the summer. The Atlanta native shot to fame in 2017, and “Detox” is the latest in a string of bangers that prove he’s still at the top of his game.
The release of this new song shows that Baby has no plans to slow down and instead is working tirelessly to further solidify his position as the era’s undisputed king. New visuals for the song were also released with the record as well. Lil Baby and Chris Brown’s epic North American “One Of Them Ones” tour has come to an end, and this song follows on the heels of their Best Hip Hop performance with Nicki Minaj at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby, Baby’s first documentary, has also just been released. The documentary, which debuted on August 26 on Amazon Prime Video, gives viewers a personal look into his upbringing and the events that catapulted him to the top of the hip-hop industry so quickly. It follows a young artist and activist as he exposes the institutional oppression and personal hardships that prevent many people from realizing the American Dream.
